Homeless And Despair After Kuchis’ Attack In Behsud
Fatema 45, the mother of five children, left homeless and hopeless after the Pashtun Kuchis destroyed and burned down her house and many other houses in her in neighborhood in Behsud district. Kuchi and Kuchism (nomad and nomadism) are the most destructive factors in Pashtun society that are being used against the Hazara people. For the first time, Abdul Rahman Khan, infamously known among the Hazara people as “the brutal king,” used Kuchis to oppress the Hazaras in 1891. The brutal king, then usurped the lands of the Hazaras and sold them to Kuchis who were mostly belonged to Ahmadzai clan. I took this photo in the summer of 2007. Tweet
